Abortion Pills Or Medication Abortion
Abortion pills (sometimes known as medication abortions) are available for up to 11 weeks following the start of your last menstrual period.
If your last period was more than 11 weeks ago, please see the section below for information on our in-clinic Orlando Abortion Clinic.
Appointments are required for abortion pill (medication abortion) services.
Post-Appointment Information:
If you like, within 1-2 weeks ensure that your abortion is complete and that you are healthy. If you are still pregnant, you may require another dosage of medicine or an in-clinic abortion to terminate the pregnancy.
In-Clinic Abortion:
Availability: In-clinic abortion in Orlando Abortion Clinic
(commonly known as surgical abortion) is available up to 15 weeks following the start of your last menstrual period.
If your last period was more than 15 weeks ago, we can assist you to find additional abortion choices in your region.
Abortions in the clinic are exclusively performed by appointment.
Before Your Appointment:
If you take any medications, please take them as usual before your visit or bring them with you on the day of your consultation.
If you have asthma, bring an inhaler with you.
Requirements
Recent changes in Florida legislation make it more difficult for people to obtain care. These are not choices made by Women’s Center but rather developments in the law that Women’s Center is compelled to follow. We will guide you through the process of obtaining care.
Florida continues to offer safe, legal, and accessible abortion care despite the recent Supreme Court decision. However, the Florida 15-week abortion ban goes into effect on July 1, 2022, so your second appointment where you receive your medication or have your procedure must take place before the 15-week limit. The status of the law may change quickly as a result of ongoing litigation. Please be aware that Women’s Center will provide services in accordance with the law in effect on the date of your appointment.

Your health insurance may cover abortion services. If you wish to use your insurance, please bring it with you to your appointment.
